Cooling Q's
Any suggestions on what to check if your running a little warm?
Overflow bottle is almost half full. got a little seepage around hose where it meets the radiator, but most likely needs tightening. Some times it wont seep at all. And my gauge read way hot when I got back in the truck but levelled back out after I cranked up and started driving. Could it be the thermostat? Gauge? It didnt start doing all this until I gave it to a friend of mine. BTW 75 Jimmy 4x4, no AC, auto trans. Thanks SLIMJIM

Try putting in a new thermostat 160 or 180 temp and flushing it out with it running using a water hose. if you do this take your top hose off and let it dump out the water and put the hose in the cap hole. You may just have some junk in it.

I would definitely start with replacing the thermostat, and if that doesn't fix the overheating you might want to have the radiator flushed. I'd also just visually check the hoses to make sure your not getting a collapsed hose when the truck is running.
