Gorgeous! I think the tailgate trim will work well with the "truck" paint scheme in your rendering. Only one possible issue I see: The tail light trim might be lower than the top of the bumper, or close to it. That's why I asked for the with-bumper-on pics.

I wonder if one could install the whole setup a tad higher. I know it's too late for you, and yours look awesome anyway, but I'm just thinking out loud...

That's what you get for being a pioneer!!! Someone may come along and improve on your idea, but you will always be the first and we thank you for that
