What thermostat?
I have a 350 mild cam aluminum radiator DD that i am getting ready to install a new intake and 4 barell carb... what thermostat should i use?

Whatever the stock T-STAT is - I think it's 190 degree opening...

I would run a 160 degree

Depends where you live. I would think a good all around would be 180 IMHO.

I would say all personnal opinion. If you run a 160, in the hot summer it would be nice your temps will stay down. When it gets cold though, your truck would never get to a good temp making heating also poor in the cab. If you went with a 210 it would kinda be vise versa. A 180 is a nice all around temp, but vs the 160 it will run warmer. So it is all up to what you are looking for, and what driving conditions you are in. Hope this helps!!

i havea 190 superstat in mine from advace auto parts life time warranty and if it fails it is suppose to fail open

So here's a related question and not to hijack, I just put a 180 in mine and it's getting all the way to the HOT side before opening are there different temp range sending units?? seems that my sending unit is a 180??? is there a rule of thumb as to how many degrees above the thermostat the sending unit should be???
