Turning the oil pump?
O.K., I saw this a while back but I can't find it now. I bought a Jeg's HEI dizzy for my '70, and was gonna put it in, but am worried that it wont go all the way down, and I'll have to turn the oil pump. How do I do that? I have a pretty good idea how to put it in otherwise.

You just need to turn the oil pump shaft's drive slot lines up with the dizzy's drive tang. a long screwdriver & a flashlight will do the trick

not that this is the most recommended way but you can just bump the key so the cam gear well turn the dis. gear until it just drops down in the right spot.

The pump shaft has a fork shape on it, where the Dis end slips into. If they are not lined up it won't go down.

Now when they are talking about long screwdrivers, they are usually talking about a 9" screwdriver.
