transmission crossmember
i need to know if all the auto trans crossmembers are the same?? i need one for my turbo 350 and i can get one off of a turbo 400. both are 72 c-10. thanks

The cross members are the same except the TH 400 cross member has a bracket attached to it to support the e-brake cable. Attached is a pic of the TH 400 cross member with a cable mocked up on it.

Here's a comparison between a 350 & 400 cross member. As you can see from the pics there are some differences in the way they are made but the overall dimensions appear to be the same. The bottom part is different where it bolts to the frame and the angled support that goes to the top of the frame is different also. Second picture, the TH400 is on the bottom. It has the emergency brake cable loop on it, the TH350 doesn't. LockDoc
