Painting valve covers
Anyone paint designs or anything on there valve covers?
I’m considering painting my valve covers and wanted to see some, or thoughts about doing such a project. s/t

Anyone?? I have them powder coated now and a friend wants to put “true flames” on them. You have to see his work! Anyway I’m not sure how well they will hold up? Anyone done something like this?

I asked a question about what paint to use in the paint forum and was told its ok to use a bc/cc paint.. so you should be able to do whatever you want. I decided for the sake of time to use some high temp gloss black and baked them in the oven. Can he rattle can the high temp and do his flames ? Anyway the factory and others put stickers on the valve covers if those can hold up for 20 years I dont see why and automotive paint wont.. Id love to see some pics of the valve covers when you get them done.. good luck

maybe puncture a can of high temp paint and put that in his airbrush...
