will this shroud cool?

Hey guys, I made this shroud and am now wondering if it will work like it is. The fans are 12" but total only have 1380 CFMs. I don't think it's enough for a 454. Stock for the most part, just a nice cam and stock heads with port work. Doe's not usually get too hot here in Northern Washington. I was wondering if it would be a good idea to put luvers or holes in the areas under and above each fan so that driving down the road I might get that extra air flow. I have not run with it yet, seems to pull air OK. I'm worried it may just not work like it is. Shroud stands out 2" rfom radiator.
Any thoughts and ideas.

Re: will this shroud cool?

if you end up with high speed overheating, then yes, I'd do it, however, if they never come on while rollin down the freeway, then I'd leave it alone personally.
