is this a bad omen?

so im working on the hood trying to block it all out so I can paint the rest of the truck, I look down and see a weird yellow and black striped rope. NOT-King snake

I know King snakes arent aggressive and wont attack me so I grab my welding gloves/jacket throw em on just cuzz im still like "hell im not going near that thing without gloves. Bring it around back and throw it over the cement fire fence thinking meh it will be fine I watch it slither away in the opposite direction of my house and dont think twice about it. about an hour later I realise I havent watered the new grass seed we just planted go out to activate the timer and guess what is coiled around the timer, another yellow/black striped rope. NOT - KING SNAKE.

I am scared/paranoid at this point haha.

Man If my wife saw that I would have to move.lol The house would have a for sale sign. I noticed the dog kennel in the yard, what kind of dog do you have. I train protection dogs when I'm not working on cars.

Re: is this a bad omen?

haha right on kab, ive had 2 dogs through my life so far both pure bread german shepards. My dad was a cop so he was able to train "Liebchen" my first dog down at the k9 police training academy. Liebchen was a great dog, my current shepard "Shotzee" didnt go through the k9 training but I had a good understanding of what to do and what not to do from Liebchen, im happy with her shes going on 3 years now. She doesnt always think shes a dog though---

Yeah let me have that snake for my wife.lol Here is a pic of my two fully protection trained boys. They are gentle souls unless the need arises.lol The German Shepard is Jomo (5 years old) and the Dutch Shepard is Cinque (3 years old). Don't get a Dutch unless you have time to put in the training because these dogs are pure man stoppers.

That first pic I posted is from a k9 competition that I decoyed. I had a blast working with all kinds of different breeds. It was in Las Vegas and I was hot as you know what in that bite suit.lol

Re: is this a bad omen?

I'd have grabbed a shovel and that sucker would have been in many, many pieces unitl it stopped squirming.

Then, if the little pieces started to wiggle, I'd turn up the torch and fry them to nothing but a black spot on the cement.

Oh, did I mention I hate snakes?

Re: is this a bad omen?

no reason to really kill a king snake, they kill rattle snakes. I had like a 4-5 ft rattle snake in my back yard once. I see the dog attack something on the ground and then this big long rope thing flailing around in the air call her over go look and hear this "chicka chicka chicka chicka chicka" then see the damn thing. I grabbed a back hoe and wacked it once and ran back to the house haha. It was next to a gopher hole and snuck into it and I guess out because I havent seen it since.
