Found a 67' short step...what do you guys think...
A fair price for this would be??? These are the only pictures he sent me. I am going to look at it today. It runs and drives says with no problem, and currenly has a 6 cyl 292 3 on the tree. No AC. Rockers have been replaced and he says it has no major rust issues. Radio hole has been cut. I will have better pic's after I see it.
It is a stepper and short and small window. Ugly right now, but looks to have potential for a good resto! Alex

Not too bad. It should make nice company for your other one.

He was asking $1400.00 and his last email said "Bring $1100.00 cash and drive it away". Going to go look around noon. If I buy it, the yellow step side bed will be for sale with tailgate.

That is one heck of and UGLY truck! But with some body work, SWB and a paint job it should be nice. Price sound good as well. All depends what you want to do with it. If you want a V8, auto then it might be better to find one that way for a few bucks more.

Don't look like a bad deal. Offer him $1000

I'd be leary about what's under the paint job, a half a$$ paint job is always on top of half a$$ body work.

Re: Found a 67' short step...what do you guys think...
however, if it runs and drives, it's well worth the 1100 bucks. Heck, I'm the cheapest b@stard around, and I'd buy it for that.

Re: Found a 67' short step...what do you guys think...
be sure to check the frame for damage, since it's a 67 and has a 68 front clip on it. other than that it doesn't look too bad.

Re: Found a 67' short step...what do you guys think...
$1,100 would be fair, if it will drive down the road. I paid $1,200 for my 68 short step, with a v8, a couple years ago.

Its only worth what its worth to YOU. Look it over closely. Also remember, if he said 1100 takes it, you can get it for 1000 at the most. Cash talks...

Re: Found a 67' short step...what do you guys think...
Just got back....going to pass on this. TOO MUCH is not right...and there is quite a bit of rust issues. The one thing that was right was the frame and cab numbers match.
