What Compressor(s) To Use?
Ok.... I decided on 2 3-gal air tanks vs. the single tank I've been running & should have them early next week.
Now it's time to order another compressor or I might just get 2 since the little Thomas I've been using is several yrs old now. The Thomas has worked fine for my limited height adjustments so I was just going to get a second one...... unless you guys suggest something better that doesn't break the bank. Let me know what you're using, why, what did it cost, where did you get it?

I had a single Thomas for mine as well. Even though it wasn't enough to fully run my system because of the large tank I had, I was very happy with it.
The ViAir 380's are supposed to be nice, but a single Thomas to add to your existing setup is cheaper. Also, the ViAir's are a little louder than the Thomas I had.

I vote Viair 380c also. Those things are just about bulletproof. I haven't had any problems with mine and it seems that all the guys I know that have them really like them also.

Amen brother..... I'm getting 2 new Thomas 327's. The original one worked fine for my application. I could get away w/just getting one but I'd rather replace both & know everything is fresh.

Probably a good idea to go ahead and replace them both. That way you won't have to worry about when your old one will give out.

not too many guys use this on this forum but i say a york will be the best cheapest way to go, york from a junk yard is cheap and easy to use, just make a bracket to go on your engine and thats it

i'm using air zenith i love it. i know plenty of people running them and on their new design they have a fan mounted on the top.

I was going to get the 380c's but they were 'out of stock' @ SD. So after considering my options & looking over prices, I decided to stick w/the Thomas 327's.
I ordered 2 of them for less than $300 delivered w/my 'shop' discount. I got the tanks this week & love them. Hopefully I'll get them mounted up & finalize the air-line routing; re-fab the front shock brackets & the re-vamped suspension will be done. Unless...... I upgrade the brakes, but that's another thread .

Ok.... I should clarify.
1) I just don't get 'warm fuzzies' from e-bay auctions. 2) I try & get my purchases from known (proven to me) sources. 3) I don't have PayPal because of all the scams that surround it. 4) I hate giving my CC info to someone on an e-bay deal. I got mine from a known source that I trusted for less than $300 & didn't have to pay anything up front. They were ordered on my request w/o a deposit or pmt in advance & if I have any issues I know they will take care of me. I got a good deal.

you shouldve waited on sd. and maybe got the 2 480's. i hear nothing good about the air zeniths. however i think it wwas the first design without the fans that had the problems.
