Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

What was used to drop everything?
Coils, LCA, spindles,UCA?
Flip kit, hangers,shackles?
All those rides lookin SCHAWEEEEET!

If I was to do it... it would be
Front: 3 inch spindles, 3 inch springs
Rear: 6 inch spring, 2 inch blocks, adjustable pan hard, and a notch

My 74 is 3" BellTech spindles, 1 coil cut from the original front springs, rear flip kit, 2" Western Chassis shackles, shock extenders front & rear (W.C. out back; homemade up front).

My 68 is 3" BellTech spindles, 1 coil cut from the original front springs, rear air bags, bolt-in c-notches (they're now welded in too), 1.5" lowering blocks, adj panhard bar, modified & relocated stock rear shock brackets.

I think the best 'budget' compromise for the front would be: 3" spindles, 1 ~ 1.25" notched front crossmember & 1" drop springs (or cut 1-coil from the stock springs & use a 1" urethane coil spacer). This would offer the most suspension travel while still not breaking the bank.
