Talking sure is nice to have a C10 to ride !!

man now that I have had my 67 C10 on the road for a week it sure is nice to have it !! just go out and jump in it and take off !!! my 67 with that great little 250 and a the 3spd get's better gas mileage than my wife's new colorado and is a blast to drive around !!! love it love it love it !!!!!!!!
I got upset at these truck's a few year's ago because of the rust but have tryed it again here !!!
when I was redoing my 67 I put new rocker's and part of the cab corner's and painted everything good , original door's and bedside's have surface rust on the inside but nothing had come thru , I think I'll fill the back of these panel's full of oil this winter ,,,, I do live in southrust virginia you know !! gotta be carefull !!!!!

Re: sure is nice to have a C10 to ride !!

It sure is nice to drive them and not just work on them all the time. I have had Low Buck on th eroad for just over a week and I have driven it about 500 miles so far and it has been just great. I have had my other truck (71 slow build) since 1999 and have not driven it since 2000. I have worked on alot of peoples 67-72's but have not had my own to drive in way to long. I drove it to the GoodGuys show today and I enjoyed the drive (85miles ea way) more than the show it self. I did spend a few $ on some new parts while I was their so now it wil be even more fun to drive
New head lights (H4's) with cool blue lights. New trim rings that all match! New weather stripping for the doors, new rear view miror that you can see out of (old one was all fogged over) and enough Dynamat for the entire cab, doors and misc.
