El Camino Engine In My Truck??

I finally got around to checking the engine ID on my 72 K20 which I thought was the original engine. Found the stamp and looked it up in my "Chevy Truck ID Numbers" book. The stamp reads "T0208CKA"

According to this book, the engine is out of an El Camino. Is this 100% correct? Does it tell me anything else?
Thanks!

Re: El Camino Engine In My Truck??

Could be correct. My 69 SWB was ordered with a 307 and I think those were more popular in El Caminos.
