Re: 2nd try Need a factory short 4x4 frame
I know where 2 of them are, one is a bare frame, no suspension, no axles, 450.00, the other is on a 69 4x4 stepside, I will go see it Saturday, has suspension, axles, manual steering. Not sure on asking price yet

Re: 2nd try Need a factory short 4x4 frame
You could fly out to AZ and buy my one of 1054 1967 short fleet 4X4, and drive it home? I wouldn't charge you a pile of money, unless you just want to give me it?!! I know you only want/need a frame, but you could always sell the parts you have for your project? Heck I'd even consider those 2 NOS Blazer bedsides as a partial trade LMK

Re: 2nd try Need a factory short 4x4 frame
wish I would have known you were looking. I just watched a 68 K-10 SWB fleet one sell on Ebay for $1200 and it was located between us. We could have parted it....

Re: 2nd try Need a factory short 4x4 frame
Hey Tim let me know I am sure I can manage to slide the frame under the blaze for the trip home.
Down South when you say rough does it need repair or is it just flaky and nasty because a show truck is not the plan and I can live with pits etc as long as it is structurally sound let me know as I intend to come down your way late june early july thanks Mike

Re: 2nd try Need a factory short 4x4 frame
that truck is for sale again on Ebay. it went for $1200 last time but someone must have backed out. I would be interested in parting it with you (you take frame/chassis and I take body/bed). I bet we could get it for cheaper......

Re: 2nd try Need a factory short 4x4 frame
Mike, that truck is identical to yours...
Be advised of the 67-68 frames VS 69-72 though.67-68s had different front and rear spring hangers and different rear leaf configurations. You are limited on lift kits to a point with them too.Its not a problem if you dont want to lift the truck, but if you do be aware of this. Re: 2nd try Need a factory short 4x4 frame
shackle flip for the rear and new leafs for the front....
That truck is very close to mine, only difference is it's a 6 banger without tach. Says they changed trannies and the driveshaft is in the cab so it must have issues....

Not trying to hijack or anything, But Why would you part that truck out? Looks like a nice truck. Just wondering
