steering/suspension ?

I need to get the truck aligned and was thinking that this would be a good time to get new shocks and ball joints. What else should be upgraded before the alignment? Pitman, idler arms? Any input/ideas will be greatly appreciated and will help me w/ my game plan/fundage. Thanks, sb.
