It was for the bigger truck that had air brakes, like the c-40,50 and 60's. People use them now nto monitor for their bag pressure when using air ride

Re: F/S gauge parts tach,vac,air,80 lb oil ps tach/vac tins

Byrd, thanks for posting on my WTB thread so I didn't miss this! I'll take one set of Tach/Vac tins described below - THANKS! BTW, I have the oval rear piece for the vac gauge (the one with the stamped holes in it) so if you want to keep that piece for someone else, be my guest

BTW, I appreciated your resto quote; I picked up a tach dash in really nice shape and decided it was better than driver quality...so I just decided to put it together myself.

4) Factory Tach/vac or tach/air metal tins, these are the inner and outer metal tins needed to convert your dash over to a tach/vac or tach/air dash.
$95 shipped

If you have a tach dash, all you need is the inner black tin, and the gauge with the back panel, or if you don't have the small back panel for a vac/air gauge you can just drill out the square stamped spot in the middle to 1/2" and it will pop right in. But the tough part to find is a good used air pressure lens for the dash that is nice enough to polish out, as they are not being reproduced.

Re: F/S gauge parts tach,vac,air,80 lb oil ps tach/vac tins

windancer, yes you will, same as above you need the inner tin and the lens. The inner tins are hard to find and are not be repopped except in tach/vac conversion kits. Billa bought the set I had for sale. BTW your vac gauge went out yesterday and you should see it in a couple of days...Randy
