Re: Stagger wheel size or not? 18" & 20" or 20" all the way, What do you think?
Ok, now that I have my truck assembled I can say I wish I had gone with 20s all around instead of 20/18. I plan to call my tire guy and see about swapping out my unused 18s for some 20s, that is if the wait is not too long. Just got the bed on two nights ago...

Why do you regret the 18 & 20 stagger your truck looks awsome? I have heard 20" wheels age hard on front rotors??? I don't know one way or the other. I am having a hard time finding a matching set of tires. The only set I have found are the Toyo Proxes 4 in the sizes I need

The tires are Toyo Proxes STs. 315/35/20 rear, 255/45/18 front. I wanted 245/45 for the front but those don't come in the ST line. On the tire calculator at 1010tires.com the fronts are supposed to have a sidewall height of 4.51", and the rears 4.34", so .17" of an inch, but as you can see in reality the difference is more than that. I am going to live with it. Its mid July and I want to drive this truck before that white stuff comes back again! |

Im not trying to be an ass.. but i totally agree, and maybe its just the pic, but it looks like your front tire is bigger than your rears?

working on finding a tire dealer that can set me up with the right sizes for the right price. I am also replacing my pads and wheel bearing at the same time.

I'll say this.....that deep back rim looks fricken great with the tire all tucked in that wheel well.
You must of narrowed your rear a little and widened you bed wheel wells? Truck looks great now and will look fantastic when all back together.
