Hi guys,
This is a '72 shortbed chassis for sale. 4 years ago, I stripped it down to metal, POR-15'ed it, installed a CPP c-notch, a complete Early Classics front end rebuild kit (all new everything: ball joints, control arm bushings, tie rods, etc), as well as an ECE dropped-front heavy duty swaybar... and a complete Early Classics 4"/6" drop kit including 2.5" Drop Spindles, 1.5" Drop Front Coil Springs, 6" Rear Drop Coil Springs, 4 KYB Shock Absorbers, Super Track Bar Kit, and Shock Mount Relocator Kit.
In addition, I installed an ECE 700r4 trans crossmember.
In addition, I had the Early Classic trailering arm reinforment kit pro-welded on the trailing arms to beef them up for big-block torque.
In addition, I had the 12 bolt posi rear rebuilt with a new 3.73 ring and pinion by E.T. Automotive in Richardson.
Since all the work, the chassis has sat like you see it (lol), 0 miles, never on the road, just moved around every once in awhile, always under a cover or indoor storage. In that time, the POR-15 has faded on the front chassis stub as sunlight will do to it...the rest of the frame is still glossy black. The once pristine and painted front end pieces are showing some light surface rust as well.
Sorry about the pics, but the cab and bed I also have for sale kept me fom getting some better pics.
Overall, this chassis has just about everything you could want already done to it...would make a great start on your project.
Lot's of time and over $2500 in parts alone invested.
Price is $1700.

is the frame straight? what is the condition of the steering box? what is the story on the brakes?

if i like the answers to these questions i want it and can pick it up in the next few weeks. let me know.
