I checked with Partech and there isn't a conversion for that casting number. See if any of this helps.
If it still has the bar code tag you should be able to tell what it is with this info and the first pic. You're tag might not look exactly this one but if you get me the related info off of yours I can check it for you. If not, it should have a slightly rectangular pan, it might be shallow or deep with a step in the back. I put an exploded view for you too, hope you can figure it out with this, if not let me know and I'll try what I can to help more
(1) 3 = 2003
(2) Model
(3) Hydra-Matic 4L60-E
(4) Transmission Asm. as Shipped Number
(5) 3 = Model Year
(6) Julian Date or Day of the Year
(7) Letter After Julian Date Identifies the Plant Shift Build, See Shift Build Chart
(8) Bar Code
(9) Serial Number
(10) Broadcast Code
(11) Transmission ID
(12) Build Location Y=Toledo, OH, R=Romulus, MI, 4=Ramos Arizpe, Mexico

i would be interested in a price of a fuel pump for a 97 astro van 4.3 sfi vortec. do you still have to buy whole canister or can you now get just the pump? i have put in 3 in the last 31000 miles 1 carter and converted 2 used ones from 2003 astros. i would like to think i can make it home if i drive this truck over walking distance. what kind of warinty do they carry?

There is a connector that goes on the tail shaft drivers side and another on on the passenger side on top of the pan.

ID NEED THE LAST 8 OF YOUR VIN TO BE 100% SURE BUT I BELIEVE THE ONE YOU NEED IS PART#25178736 PRICE $418.59 AND YEP ITS THE WHOLE ASSEMBLY. LOOKS LIKE THE LITTLE GUY HAS A 1 YR WARRANTY. PRETTY DARN STEEP IF YOU ASK ME!

Comes in two pieces. $94.15 body side and $60.23 door side.
