Cut Or Swap???????

I am working on a 67 rebuid(1st truck). I always like the the small window. I purchased a 72 for parts and I was getting ready to cut the firewall and replace with the 72 AC firewall and it occurred to me that swaping the whole cab might be a much easier task. The truck is for my son and he could go either way with the big or small window. Other than the window is there any reason why I should just switch out the cab? I am going to an automatic which the 72 has, factory air and less rust. Seems like a "no brainer" to me. Both cabs are California cabs. What do you guys think? Thanks for all of your help!
