Hey guys there's a guy I know that is parting out a 84 blazer and he said I could have the gas tank if I want. Will this tank off the blazer fit without major modification? Thanks

I think there was a thread awhile back about using a gov surplus gas tank. I think it was around that year.

Are the suburban tanks the same as the blazer?

Re: 84 blazer gas tank in 71?
I have the 25gal 84 blazer tank in Low Buck but it is very tight. I have a leaf spring set up and the tank is against the reciever hitch and I had to bend the tank lip to clear the diff. I do not think it will work with a coil truck because of the pan hard bar.

I have a 33 gallon 85 Blazer tank in my step. I do have a body lift that helps with the filler tube clearence. If you can get the skid plate grab it. I used it to help the two straps hold the tank in place. Here are a few pics.
