Remote starter
To get the 72 to TDC I'm trying to hook up a remote starter. How do I know which terminal is the "S" terminal that I have to hook up to.
After I do the intake manifold gaskets I want to put that HEI distributor I have on the truck, that's why I want to get it to TDC. he one with the purple wire on it is the S terminal. If you were too look real close, it'll be stamped on there.

Got that done.
Now how can I tell when it is at TDC. A friend (on Vac this wk) told me to put a piece of paper in the #1 spark plug and whe it "coughs" it out you are at TDC. Is that right? I tried that and every time I hit the remote starter it seems to "cough" out the paper?? thanks, Pat ------------------ 72 Chevy Custom 10 Deluxe (78K mi.) 95 Nissan Maxima (195K mi.) 73 VW Beetle (owned since 78; 96K miles) 84 Honda Nighthawk (2500 mi.)
