Upgraded my junk

My poor CheyenneSuper got the blisters and had surface rust.I stripped it bare and red oxided the most of it,but left the hood since I would just replace it.It was the worst of all pieces.I had the hood off my old `71 CustomCamper/20 with original paint up in my shop,so I brought it down and slapped it on to help improve my landscape one night last week. The only rust-out is in the rockers and door skin bottoms:

Don`t worry about that open hub.I had to steal it for my GMC last winter.I`ll pull the wheel and put plastic over and let the wheel hold it on.I have a n.o.s. rim & knob for it.Can`t see lettin`it sit on there befire the resto.

Re: Upgraded my junk

Wish I had that kind (and size) of landscape at my house. The truck is much more interesting than a water fountain.

Re: Upgraded my junk

Thanks, maybe I should tear out my 15 year old son`s 10x12 sandbox/2 story fort/slide so I can fit another.I`ll have a talk with him and see if he`d mind.Maybe if I tell him it`ll be his parking space.I`m no hillbilly[(anymore)for the time being].I have a rule, nothing in front of the house.I still have some yard left out back.
