possible new addition
MY buddy has a 2wd 1968or1969 chevy c30 that is from what i saw rust free or close to it but with a stack body. the engine is a ho 327 I had a 1968 some time back and to have another is great.
Hes had it for years and he just wants it gone if i do end up with the truck i have 3 idea parting it out (which is a shame cause its a good running truck). Or take the flat bed off make it a dually again, and drop it make it a dropped 1968 dually sounds kinda cool but with no funds to do it is sad to. If i do endup with the truck ill get pictures so you all can see my freebie.

Re: possible new addition
Buy my '68 4X4 and you'll have 2 to play with. Get the C/30 and sit on it until you can work on it. Don't part it out.

Re: possible new addition
I just dont get "dropped trucks". I know I wouldnt want one.
You know if it has a good deck why replace it? Flatdecks are more functional than factory decks and if they are made right they can look pretty good. If it was my dually I would be thinking about a diesel/ transmission swap and possible an air locker for rear end. |
