Fuse box on the inner fender.

Has anyone ever put the fuse box on the inner fender using an aftermarket wiring harness kit? I figure it would be easier to work on and add gadgets as time goes on.

id recomend using a sealed box of some sort. the reason they put them inside the cab is to protect from corrosion.

i've gutted a rice burner box (don't remember what it came out of) and put a newer style fuse buss inside of it.

snap the lid on and everything is relatively safe.

you might not like having to reroute everything to fit that configuration though.

I have all of the wiring out of the truck anyway and I'm waiting on a EZ harness. I was thinking that I would need a sealed box. The mini that EZ sells is sealled.

hey if you're starting from scratch, have at 'er!!

I've used stainless tubing as conduit to the various electrical connections. makes for a very clean and detailed look. just a thought.

I'm faaar from doing the "pretty" stuff on mine. kinda' miss the "complete" stage!
