Pics! I KNOW you all like pics!

Well.

Threw some black and white film in the SLR, and took some pics of the truck as we were moving a few bales of hay to the barn.

It's like a nature documentary -- trucks in their natural environment. Thanks for sharing. These are background worthy on the old PC.

Those pix give a nice nostalgic feel, I wonder how many tons that truck has hauled in it's life. What part of the U.S. are you in?

I grew up driving one of those old H's. My old man had another Super H where he had the solid metal wheels on the back and the crank start up front. Those were some of the most dependable tractors I ever drove.

Re: Pics! I KNOW you all like pics!

Wow, thanks for all the praise guys. Although, I don't feel I deserve most of it. I mean, hell, the camera did the work. :P

retodd - I'm live in northern Wisconsin. not exactley ideal farming country. but hey.

WRM - i've yet to see any of these Farmalls fail to start, let alone perform. sometimes the battery dies, and, you guessed it, get out the ol' hand crank, and spin 'er over. I usually run the H's, and the Massey rake, while Dad runs the M and the New Holland haybine. I'm not gonna lie, the M kinda scares the living hell outta me; just because i've seen that thing belching 3-4 foot flames out of the pipe towards dusk when we're plowing or discing in the spring, and it's just a big damn tractor. but, part of me still loves it.

We even call the M "Pig", because she sure does like the gasoline. haha.
