Looking for Corvette suspension and rims
Hi All,
I just listed a few thing on ebay like a tilt colunm (van), t400 throttle assebly, reman brake booster, 67 dash and some other goodies to raise $$ for my new 67 short fleet. (EBAY LINK) I had these parts stashed for this truck, but now I am going to build a full custom out of it and now I am looking for front and rear corvette suspension from 1984 to 1996 as well as the black five star corvette wheels. Just checking here to see if anyone has any leads on these parts... Last edited by John Fabris; 07-13-2007 at 01:16 PM. |

Re: Looking for Corvette suspension and rims
Are you going to manufacture your own Corvettte crossmember or use a kit like Flat Out Engineering's? If using Flat Out, they sometimes have access to used parts. Otherwise eBay will often have listings. My son paid under $200 for the upper lower and control arms, spindles, rotors, calipers and steering rack.
Progressive Automotive sells complete kits including the Corvette parts which are rebuilt although they don't list your model truck as one they make a "kit" for. Another source for used parts: http://www.contemporarycorvette.com/ |

Re: Looking for Corvette suspension and rims
Thanks Robin. I am planning on trying out the Flat Out Engineering's kit. I have been looking around on Craigslist, Ebay and by word of mouth. Looking to get the suspension in the next two weeks as I have all of the sheetmetal on the truck and really need to get the suspension in place to center the wheels and see what the ride hight will be. Once that is done, then I will start mods to the truck and frame... Main theme for this truck is SMOOOOOTH...

Re: Looking for Corvette suspension and rims
I guess you would not be interested in an original 72 corvette GM highrise intake? GM stamped snow F. intake?

Re: Looking for Corvette suspension and rims
Check with porterbuilt, his dropmember is engineered to take the vette front and rear. I have seen it in person, very nice!!
