Gone Fishin'

I was pulling into my driveway today with the '68 and got flagged down by a couple of people fishing. They used the gravel launch as the two concrete ramps around our area where tied up.

I hooked onto him with the Bravada and pulled him back out of the drink. Real nice guy that owns it, and really nice truck.

Re: Gone Fishin'

I've been close to doing that a few times in my life. Had the car down too close to the surf, goofed off and forgot about those Tide things

That's a nice stepside

Re: Gone Fishin'

He really wasn't in that far, they pushed / drove it up that far and I did the rest. Once they hit shore the rear wheels sank and there he was. He was sweating it hard, he even had towels jammed up the exhaust pipes to stop the water from flooding in.

I was going to use the dually but I was just bringing it home from getting a new clutch and a used tranny, wasn't going to put that much wear on it towing him when the wife's all wheel drive bravada was sitting there.
