repacking front wheel bearings

Hey guys,

I am repacking my front wheel bearings and I have a question.

In between the inner and outer bearing races on the brake rotor, there is a cavity or pocket which was entirely filled with grease when I took the front wheel apart.

Do I need to refill that pocket full of grease, or do I just pack the bearings with grease?

Re: repacking front wheel bearings

just the bearings and it doesnt hurt to have a light coat of grease on the whole length of the spindle
