5 lug 3.73 posi rear axel for sale
Hi guys, I am ready to sell my rear axel. Original 72 Cheyenne Super rear axel. Of course its a 5 lug. I totally disassembled and media blasted the housing and painted a few years ago. Replaced all the bearings with new. Installed richmond 3.73 gears and an auburn posi. This is a very complete unit including parking brake cables and brake lines I want $650 for the complete axel. Here is a pic.

Give it time.What you have is worth the money.Do you know which series carrier that would have?I think 3.73s can go in series-3 or series-4.

I didn't mean to lowball you, I'm just on the fence about posi and I'm close. Of course, if I went and rebuilt mine, It'd probably cost over $1000. But I'd put an Eaton in it. My open diff pulls the boat out of the lake, albeit with a little drama.
