A/C Control Lights?
Hey guys, been a while since I've posted. Anyway, I was looking through the search without much luck so I thought I'd ask out here. Where can I find the lights to go in my A/C controls? I need the little harness and everything(socket, wire and all that). Any help would be greatly appreciated.
James

Are the bulbs the twist in type. Or are the bulbs the same type that go in the dash and side markers. You should be able to get both types at an autoparts store.Or you can do what I do , when at a junkyard try to grab as many fuses and bulbs that you can fit in your pocket. I would try the parts board for the light harness. i think the light is the same as the light in a non air conditioned truck

My lights are the small bayonet type (two pins that twist into the socket) The socket itself is one of those metal finger types that snap into location and remain there by friction. I've seen these type of lights in other older GM cars before so hopefully a trip to a salvage yard would turn up something. My digicam died on me or I would snap a piccy for you to see what they look like.

You live in Kansas so I think you have an Auto Zone nearby, they have a book that can tell you what bulb you need, If you dont have one then any parts store will. As far as the socket and wiring you will probably have to get those from a salvage.
