tailshaft length

what is the stock tailshaft length for a turbo 350 out of a 82 chevy? it is a shortbed, and was originally eqquiped with a 305 if that matters, i need to know, i am in the mood right now to work on the truck, so someone either go measure theirs

well the tail shaft on mine is a 6 inch if that helps any but its a long bed

1965 shortbed fleet great granddads. Been told im nuts to bring it back from the dead (still going to happen) plans-all stock with a turbo 292 inline 3 speed column shift. and thats it

big block 427 and 5 speed trans and ford 9 inch theyhave no home yet thinking what to put them in

and a 79 c60 trash truck um no idea i have one

Probably will not help but the tail shaft housing on my 75 short C10 measures 9 inches.
