Wheels, Let's see em on your truck.

Has there ever been a sticky thread with wheel pics mounted on our trucks? Let's get some wheel sizes, along with tire sizes, please.

Here ya go!

I actually sent a PM to a mod in the past week about this thread. It's a great thread but it's been sitting dormant for some time. It would be great if a mod could clean it up a bit (you know , take out everything that doesn't really pertain to the thread) and get it back on this section of the board for a while so it could be updated. Of course it would be back to the FAQ section after whatever timeframe.

Re: Wheels, Let's see em on your truck.

Anybody have these ? I kind of think of them as they poor mans TTII's.

http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...7905&rd=1&rd=1

I like how fat they are on the outside. I would jump on these for that price but they are the wrong pattern.

I didn't realize there were different wheels constructed for different vehicles. How are they built different?

What would be the difference in this wheel and TTII's with the same specs (15x8, 4"BS and 5x5 pattern)?

they wouldnt have the same specs... fwd wheels are flat, a smaller bolt pattern, and narrow

Re: Wheels, Let's see em on your truck.

American Racing Torque Thrust "D's" - machined lip and cast centers

front 15x7 with a bfg that i dont remember off hand because i had them order several before i found one i liked

rear 15x8.5 with 275/60

thay do not stick out that much in the rear - i have not welded new perches on the axle so it is not centered

billet specalities 3 bar knockoffs 7 front and 20 degree rear - i like the 7 degrees that are on the front better than the rear -

but i dont know if i will like the knockoffs when i start driving it.

4.5ish drop in the front and 5" in the rear - although there are no shocks and tons of stuff in the cab and bed -

I dig the knock offs. They're different. I like driving around in something you don't see everyday.

As I wrote at the top of my post the wheels are wheel vintiques that i had made several years ago . The rears are 15x11 front are 15x7 6 bolt i think you can buy them now as a stock item but not sure . I made no mods to fit them on the truck . The rear backspacing is 5 1/4 '' They cost me a small fortune !!!!!! But I love em' Hope that helps!!!!!
