stock 68 C10 with 300hp 327
I am glad to have found this link. I have owned my chevy for about two years now. I purchased it in Sept. of 2003 for $500.00 with 42,000 original documented miles. It is a great project truck, straight for being an old farm truck. I have been told that it has the factory option 300HP 327, build # V06I4YV, option # 04L30AC, also the TH400 auto. I haven't been able to verify the details of the motor yet. Details available.

welcome, i'll have to look in my restoration packet and see what the HP options were... 300 sounds high unless it was a corvette 327 someone put in it...

Thanks for the warm welcome, but I have been around for a couple years now. It is a long bed. The engine has been rebuilt late last year, I have increased the HP output to @355 horses (flywheel) installed 64CC GM Vortec heads, 4bbl vortec intake, Edelbrock, and all sortd of shiny aluminum goodies. Just in the last two weeks though I started having some tranny slippage on the TH400, time to rebuild it now.
