VSS with an NP205

I am gathering the parts for a TPI conversion and need to get all the sensors. What have others done for the VSS in a 4x4 installation? The VSS units I have seen are for use in the tailstock of a 700R4, but mine has no tailstock and the speedo goes in the T-case.

Thanks,
Herb

There is a VSS adapter that splices in to your speedo cable. Here is the link to what you asked for.

Also the company that it is from is called Howell Engine Development. They have a great reputation for EFI conversions and may be able to help you out with other parts and information as well. I have never used them, but everyone else that has, really liked to deal with them.

Awesome! Thanks.

I am familiar with Howell on Jeep EFI conversions - I've heard good things too.

Re: VSS with an NP205

Great info - thanks guys! My harness came in yesterday, so its now a matter of rounding up sensors, bolts, T-stat housing, a MEMCAL for the computer that should be in soon, modifying the harness, fabbing intake ducting, repinning the weatherpacs for the speed density ECM, and time enough to swap it all in.
