Re: Th700R4 Bowtie Overdrives - any users?
I just got my truck back after having a Bowtie 700r4 Level 3 installed and I just wish had done it sooner. I love it. I bought their trans, tv setup, cooling lines, install kit, trans cooler, dip stick, lockup harness and dust cover, everything needed to install it with out going to the parts store 4 or 5 times while installing and i thought the price was very reasonable at just over $2300shipped. The guys at Bowtie are always helpful with any and all questions you may have before, during and after the install. They are GREAT!

Re: Th700R4 Bowtie Overdrives - any users?
I appreciate all the input guys - but I think i will stay with the 308's - I spoke with another one of the guys at Bowtie and he STRONGLY recommended staying with the 308's (Maximum 323) -
I asked him about the Kickdown frequency that everyones speaking of and he suggests that, if thats happening -either you live in a city that has No flat surfaces, or it is installed incorrectly (the TV) and if your kicking down that often - you shouldn't need a 4th gear... I live in Texas - so No hills here. I have the 373 ring and pinion set up in a box on my bench. brand new and 308's in the truck - I will start out with the 308's and see how it goes and I will give a performance report --- i will find this thread and re-new it ---give me a couple of weeks... Thanks again Guys, Cypress
