1967 Headers

I have tried to install two different types of headers on my 1967 c10 with three speed manual and none of them fit. After the first one hit the clutch linkage i asked summit racing if they had some that would fit. I told them how the headers would always hit the clutch linkage and the thought they had on that would fit, but i tried them and they still hit the same spot because of the three speed manual. Please tell me if you know of some headers that will fit.

Re: 1967 Headers

I don't know of any that don't require you to bend the clutch linkage z-bar. I'm sure they all have some small print disclaimer about modification required for some applications.
It was 17 years ago but IIRC, when it was red hot from the acetelyne torch, I bent it about 1". I heated in 2 places. One near the pivot and one about 1" above the hole for the lower rod for the bar to remain parallel to where it was before.
