t Case vibrations?
In my orignal 72' 4x4 350/350 with 87,000 orignal miles I have been noticing a vibrationthat is shifter ball rattling. I can grab a hold of the shifter at any speed and feel the motor intune with the vibrating. Any clue if this is normal. I have the shifter in what i think is 2Hi and the lock outs are free.
Help please. thanks. |

Re: t Case vibrations?
I've got the exact same year and drivetrain setup and I just noticed that my transfer case is full of auto trans oil. I heard another have this same problem on this site. Don't know if this would cause vibration, but thinned-out gear oil can't be good for it. You might want to drop your T-case oil and check it for red auto oil contamination like I did. It's easy and the cost is cheap. Just my two cents.
