Angry Aaaaaarrrgggg!!!!!!!

AAAAAARRRGGGG!!!!!!! I have to rant. Went down to the hardware store in my truck. Someone came in and said, "Someones chevy pickup is leaking gas!" I went out and sure enough, gas was pouring out from a cracked hose coming from under the gas tank.
I crawled underneath and pulled the hose, stopped the gas with my finger, and one of the guys from the hardware store ran over to a nearby Firestone to get some gas hose. All the gasoline melted the asphalt and got a ton of tar in my shoulder length hair. Had to put a bunch of Gojo in it to get it out, and it's still not out. Probaly time for a haircut anyway.
Seems the PO put in a new exhaust system, and the mufflers were right underneath the hose coming out of the gastank. Totally cooked it. At least I wasn't on the freeway...

Good thing some environmentalist didn't see it, a Hazmat incident would have been started.

It's great to live in "The Peoples Republic Of California"!!

Re: Aaaaaarrrgggg!!!!!!!

Thanks for the replies. Yes, I'm very lucky it didn't catch fire. Finally got the rest of the tar out of my hair, and no I don't have a mullet...
