Hi, can the window felt/rubber seals be accessed or replaced veryeasily?

I bought replacements from Brothers and now wonder if it is a straight forward job, or do I need to take the door apart to do it?

Your thoughts?

I am assuming that you are referring to what I call window fuzzies, (the seals that ride against the glass). I made up a screw driver by bending it in the shape of a "U" so that I could release the clips holding the seals in place. The seals can be pried out but it is possible to bend the door and wreck the paint
since the fish hook style clips hold on very firmly.

To get at the clips I push the glass to one side and using the blade tip on the screw driver, (which after bending is facing toward the handle) I am able to release the clips one at a time. This is done by inserting the blade tip between the clip and the door. Once the old seals are out installing the new ones is pretty straight forward.

If you are referring to the felt window runs then opening up the door is the best way to go.
