Try on the frame. below the doors on each side of the truck. You may have to take a wire brush to the frame in order to see the numbers. someone posted that there is one near the steering box on the top of the frame but I haven't found one there.

The vins will be on both frame rails. The easy one to find is on top of the frame on the drivers side just up from the stearing box. Scratch around it's there. The others are in varrious places. Try doing a search on this site either in forums search or in FAQ. There have been many posts on this subject.

Hidden Vin #s........where are they.

Can anyone tell me if there are any hidden vins on my 70 GMC truck. I found the one on the frame......anywhere else..??? I know my 67 Camaro has 2 on the firewall.....and no, the truck isnt stolen.

frame by the steering gear on top
frame on the dvr frame rail on top, pretty much under the drivers seat
glove box spid
VIN tag in door jamb
sometimes in chalk in the paint on the firewall
