looking at the picture. I saw another blazer with a single wall top, and there was a support that goes over the fiber glass. Guess is is used to distribute the weight. Does anyone have any info on these? pic's and measurements....PLEASE.

No real info other than 'yes' there is supposed to be a top plate.

Seems like making one couldn't be that tough, length x width plus a few holes to drill.

Top plates are just a chrome piece (flat with minor bends on each side) and holes drilled. Would be easy to duplicate with a stainless steel or sometime else if you had a pattern.
If you don't have any pictures and measurements by the middle of next week PM me and I will do it for you. I am busy till then.

They are just a piece of polished tin with a "L" bend and holes cut in them. Length is 60", 1.5" wide with an approx .5" "L" sticking up at approx a 60 degree angle. Holes match the holes in the top.
