Moog, is it worth it?
I went to a couple parts places and got prices for a lower ball joint.
Duralast $20 w/2yr warranty Autozone Cheap Brand $11 w/1yr Moog $30 w/Lifetime. Is it worth it to buy all Moog if I am unsure how long I will keep the truck? Consider all the parts will need to replaced as well.

Doesn't Autozone sell the very same parts you get from other stores?

its not ALL about the SAME parts they sell..... the lack of customer service will bite you in the "but-tocks "

Re: Moog, is it worth it?
I beg to differ all of my front end parts are from Autozone and they fit correctly and where of good quality. Before my restore I replaced all of my front end componets with Autozone stuff about 10-12 years ago and when I took it apart the ball joints were still good and it was my highschool truck I beat the crap out of. What people don't understand is alot of this stuff is made at the same place and just packaged different, thus WIX/Napa etc.

Re: Moog, is it worth it?
I see some of yalls points. I have used autozone and will continue to, only because the guy behind the counter has a 69 and 67 c10 and knows quite a bit about the trucks. Also, this store has great customer service. I brought back a part that was already opened and was missing a bearing out of it. They gave me a new one no questions asked. I am going back and forth between the duralast and the moog.
I don't know how long I will keep the truck. It is not for sale, but if somebody offered me money I would sell it.
