Parking brake warning light?

Anyone installed one on their 60-66? I figure they never had one stock. I'm spoiled by new cars and I don't want to ruin my new brakes by leaving the parking brake on. I was thinking about wiring something up and I was wondering if anyone else has. I could wire it to the "Tandem Lock" idiot light. Maybe I'll add a shift light too and wire it to "Overspeed".

Good idea man...Go for it !!!!

Use a self-grouding door pin switch, or micro switch on the lever.

The door pin switch is a great idea. It'd have to be wired through a switched ignition, so it didn't stay on when the truck was not running.

I took a spare parts cluster and robbed the green turn signal lens from it and put it in place of the Tandem Lock indicator, so I have left and right turn signal indactors on my '62 dash (stock, they only had a single green indactor for both signals). I've also thought about the OverSpeed lens being used with a shift indicator light.
