heater controls
Ok Guys ----
I have tried to put my heater control back in and can't ssem to get all the cables to lay flat enough. I am not sure the routing is correct after seeing an assembly drawing. I have a cable that comes from under and behind the heater box to the control unit. It puts way too much pressure on the unit for me to get it into place. Any hints, ideas or suggestions??? Greg

Do you have AC? It would be helpful to know.

are you sure you have the correct length for that particular control lever? i know mine is under some serious pressure just when i loosened the control face to get to my heater hoses when i replaced them.try mounting the wire up to the face plate control first and then attaching the other end after.you don't want the wire to flex when actuating that particular control lever,other-wise all the movement of the control lever would only move the wire(it would only bow out).g'luck!
