WIW 1972 LWB Fleet in Colorado
I am finishing up an engine transplant in my my 1972. I had a 350 that I built for my chevelle sitting in the shed. It has AFR heads, Dynomax mid-length headers, Quadrajet, 4 bolt.
The truck is pretty straight with only a few dings and a scrape on the passenger bedside. The steel bed is very solid. The rockers are rusted and need replaced, the cab corners seem very solid. One door has surface rust on the bottom, the other has some bubbling paint on the outside near the bottom. I also have the 305 I pulled that needs freeze plugs. It is attached to a th350 that drove the truck, but I didn't know its history, so I didn't want to leave it in. Price ? When I finish assembling it, I will post it for sale, but I'm just looking for a fair price to start at. thanks

Really noone will help me? Is $4000 too much? Obviously much more is invested.

your best bet is to go to the classifieds and see what a similar truck is selling for........go back at least ten pages or so to get a good idea.
I would say 4000 is a bit high for a 72 long 2wd.

Thanks Dieseleater. I thought $4000 was high, but was trying to spark some comment.

I know your probably not interested in parting out the truck.....but you might get what you want out of it that way??? I'd be interested in just the body and title........If its origional paint, and you send some GOOD pics from all angles.
