does anyone know the axle codes for a 72 1/2 ton 2wd? i'm trying to avoid pulling the cover

check out http://www.americanclassic.com they have a list of all axle codes. also do vin numbers.

The axle code numbers should be stamped on the bottom of the left or right axle tube adjacent to the differential housing
