Look on Ebay! Check under Collectibles; Transportation; Automobilia; License Plates; 1967.

I didn't see any California plates, but there were some very nice plates from other states.

I have a set of same year plates for my 70 GMC. Here in Ohio, you can have them issued to your truck for a small fee compared to the cost of regular plates. You'll have to get a "Historical Vehicle" plate issued, and it has to stay with the vehicle at all times. Won't have to re-new my plates until 2050. "Cool". For others from Ohio, check out this website for the needed info and forms.

Happy motoring.

I'm running a '69 Arizona plate on the front of my '69. It is the same front plate I had in Arizona on my '64 Bonneville Convertible. My younger brother got the rear plate and put it on his VW, back in '71 and I never saw it again. He was using it illegally, because it still had a few months left on it and he was always pushing the limits of the law.

Some states will let you do it.
In Tx, if you come up with the plates of the same year as your vehicle, you can pay an extra 5 bucks a year (I think it was only 5 bucks) and run your vintage plates. Since your actual registration sticker goes in the windshield, it works out pretty cool.
Here in ohio, you can run vintage tags, but not on a daily driver. If you get antique plates, you can do some extra paper work and install your vintage ones.
