Front axle
Does anyone know what modifications I would need to make to use the front axle from an 86 k10 on my 68 k10. My 68 didn't have any gears or a carrier in the differential, but I have an 86 sitting around. Thanks.

Re: Front axle
Pretty much straight forward.I`ve never actually done it.This would be better suited for the 4wd forum.

Re: Front axle
the axle is a direct bolt in,BUT, you'll need to use a brake master cylinder/prop valve for discs and modify your steering linkage. both are really easy swaps. i've done several myself.
