If memory serves me correctly that truck was built by a board member, IIRC.

hummer!! she'd look way cooler in that. it has all late model drive train in it, plus it will hold it's value.

Re: man i wish i had $45,000
I bought my c5 rollin chassis off the guy who built that truck. His name is Paul. Nice guy. He owns a aftermarket truck shop that sells just about everything from off road accessories to air bags and big wheels. He has a complete shop and they build custom rides for all sorts of people. He recently added a paint and body so now he can completely build the truck from chassis to paint to upholstery. I highly doubt that he spent 45k to build that truck since he does everything inhouse but he does great work. When i picked up my chassis he showed me his entire operation. Pretty impressive. Here is his link to more stuff he built. http://www.pgseriestrucks.com/rodsbypg.html

Re: man i wish i had $45,000
Didn't they build the Burb that almost always seems to be pictured with it?

Re: man i wish i had $45,000
It was. Mike Filion is (was) the owner of that truck and it was built as a tow rig for his Burb. I'm not sure what association Paul Garret has with Mike Filion or Pro Design Hot Rods but here's the article from Classic Trucks talking about who built it-Link

Re: man i wish i had $45,000
Paul Garret bought the truck almost in the condition you see. He bagged it and added some other stuff, but sold it a few months ago. He had it displayed in his shop, which truly is awesome, for quite a while. He builds some fantastic vehicles and has great fabrication skills. He is also very nice to deal with. If you ever find yourself in Southern California, it is worth a trip to his shop.
